Miss Jeannie Prasad

OWNER/ INSTRUCTOR/ADMINISTRATOR 

 

Dancing for 21 years Jeannie has been trained in various styles of dance ranging from Ballet, Contemporary, Tap, Jazz, Funk, Latin, Lyrical ,Musical Theatre , Hip-hop and many more. Along with her experience she has competed in dance Eisteddfods and sat her RAD, CSTD exams. Jeannie has made many appearances on children’s show New McDonalds farm dancing and singing and played roles in musicals such as Hairspray and Annie. She has performed in America and Sydney and choreographed for high schools and group competitions. In 2016 she went overseas to teach English and Dance at East Timor. Jeannie has involved herself within the community numerous times and only wants the best for others. This is shown throughout her work as a teacher countless times. 2016 Jeannie graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor Fine Arts Dance.  In 2018 completed her Diploma of Education, enabling her to teach both dance and music in a secondary school setting. Jeannie previously owned a franchise dance company on the Northside but in 2018 decided to start her own dance company Jeannie’s Dance & Fitness. This allowed her to be able to expand her ideas and follow her dreams to be able to incorporate a myriad of dance styles that enabled her students to explore & enhance their dancing abilities.

Clarence Kent 

DANCE TEACHER

 

Clarence is a world renown dancer who started his career in Brisbane. He has represented Australia many times in battles throughout the world for the past several years. He has been performing with the jabbawockeez in LA and Macau since 2016. Clarence has been living in LA for the past 4 years and has created a name for himself in the battle scene in the US and is a member of ‘The Lot’ who have successfully ran some of the best and biggest battles in LA. During the last 5 years, on his visits back home he has always been putting in work towards the QLD scene through his teachings, jams and events.

Miss Jess

DANCE TEACHER

​

Jessica Hetherington  has been dancing for 13 years and counting. Jessica has been fortunate enough to represent Australia four times at Hip Hop International Dance Championships in the USA, Arena Singapore and several competitions across Australia.

 

Jessica holds numerous National and International titles and has consistently placed Top 3 in every major National and International Hip Hop competitions over the years.

 

Jessica attended Wavell State High School, where she choreographed winning Hip Hop routines for the Wavell Dance Team including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at House of Champions National Competition, 1st place Junior Secondary Schools Hip Hop at Brisbane Eisteddfod and 2nd Prize Student Choreography Brisbane Performing Arts Competition.

 

Jessica is also an experienced performer having toured with Justice Crew as part of their National Concert Tour and performed with the cast of So You Think You Can Dance at various corporate events.

 

Jessica’s teaching style focuses on promoting individuality and personal growth for her students.
